THE PROGRAM Program flyerThe Program is run by a committee of parent volunteers. The Program engages tutors, takes enrolments, and matches up students with tutors. From this point on, tutors manage their students with lesson payments made directly to the tutor (except for group classes such as dance and drama). Each tutor has a coordinator on the Committee who assists with allocation, filling vacancies, chasing up fees, etc. The Program runs on 1/2 hour slots from 3.15p through to 5.45p in various rooms in the school (room usage chart ). The content of the Program varies from year to year, depending on the number of tutors and their specialisation. Piano, recorder, introduction to music and continuing music, guitar, drama and art are always offered. Singing, drumming, and clarinet are usually offered, as is dancing when enrolments are sufficient to engage tutors. The Program runs two concerts a year - June and December. The purpose of the concerts is to provide students with a supportive and non-threatening environment for launching their performance careers!
